Arriving from New York City
BY CAR…
Google Maps is a must when navigating out of NYC as there are several ways to leave (via The George Washington Bridge, Taconic State Parkway, Major Deegan Expressway, Bronx River Parkway, Lincoln Tunnel, etc.). Please plan for approximately 2 hours to reach Rhinebeck and 2.5 hours to reach Hudson, NY.
BY TRAIN…
Very scenic! Amtrak Trains run frequently out of Penn Station along the Hudson River, stopping at Rhinecliff Station (located closest to Rhinebeck), as well as Hudson. This journey from Penn Station to Hudson takes approximately 2 hours once on the train.
Arriving from Albany, NY
BY CAR…
Albany is located approximately 45 minutes by car from Hudson, NY, and 1 hour to Rhinebeck. Three options are available; Via I-87 which is the most highway-based drive, and two more scenic drives.
BY TRAIN…
Once at the train station, Albany to Hudson is approximately 25 minutes, and one stop. To Rhinebeck, it is 2 stops at 45 minutes total.
Renting a Car
(It’s not essential, but we recommended it)
PICKUP IN KINGSTON, NY
Get off the train at Rhinecliff Station, and take a taxi to one of two local rental agencies in Kingston, NY. (Again, call to reserve a cab before you get on the train!) Once you have your rental car, plan to drive 15 minutes from Kingston to central Rhinebeck and about 40 minutes from Kingston to Hudson.
Both options are about 15 minutes from the train station by car.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car Kingston
PICKUP IN HUSON, NY
Get off the train at Hudson Station, and take a taxi to Enterprise—the only local rental agency. (Again, call to reserve a cab before you get on the train!) Once you have your rental car, plan to drive 10 minutes from the rental agency to central Hudson.
PICKUP IN POUGHKEEPSIE, NY
Get off the train at Poughkeepsie Station, and take a taxi to one of three local rental agencies. (Just be sure to book the cab before you get on the train.) Once you have your rental car, plan to drive about 30 minutes from Poughkeepsie to Rhinebeck and 1 hour from Poughkeepsie to Hudson.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car Poughkeepsie – 10 minutes from the train station by car.
Avis Car Rental Poughkeepsie – 12 minutes by car.
Hertz Car Rental Poughkeepsie – 8 minutes by car.

On the day of the wedding, we will be providing transportation from the above mentioned hotels and inns, for ease of travel for our Sunday Celebrations.
Additional Accommodations
We do not have rooms blocked off at these properties, but still think they are great options. But keep in mind that we will be providing day-of transportation from Rhinebeck and Hudson only.
